In the Garden of Eden, God told Adam that he could eat the fruit of all the trees, including the Tree of Life, but that if he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would die.

What was it about eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that was such a problem? What's so horrible about knowing good from evil? Aren't we supposed to know the difference between good and evil? Isn't that what the church is here for; to tell the world the difference between good and evil - right and wrong?
