Today, the two words, "dance" and "church" aren't usually found in the same sentence. Dance is considered a completely secular practice in many of our minds today, however, dance like many other art forms has deep roots in Judeao/Christian tradition. The Bible is replete with examples of dance as a sincere expression of joy, delight and worship to God. At ALC we desire to "redeem the dance" as a beautiful, reverent, joyful, expressive and powerful art form to bring glory to God.
