Lindsey Hewett Named One of Central & Eastern Maine's Brightest & Best High School Students

Lindsey is the President of the Senior Class, Valedictorian, was named to the National Honor Society in 2007, and is a Rose Award recipient. She has received Awards for Excellence at FA in Chemistry, Pre-Calculus, Spanish III, Economics and Physics. She traveled to Australia in 2007 with the LeadAmerica Discover Australia program and served the homeless in New York City in 2005. She traveled to France in the spring of 2008 with the International Club, is active in the Math Team, Student Council and Student Ambassadors.

She is a singer, a member of the Honors Choir, District V Honors Festival, University of Maine Summer Music Program, and is active in her church music department. She has studied dance for several years and is a leader in her church’s Youth Hip-Hop and Street Dance Crew.

Lindsey is planning on attending McGill University in Montreal in the fall to study mathematics and computer science. She is the daughter of Russ & Vandy Hewett.
